Our Artemisia annua anamed (A-3), on the other hand, is a special cultivation of the annual mugwort, which is exclusively available for you from us. It contains about 20x higher content of artemisinin than most wild forms of Artemisia annua plant, (which is 1.4%, instead of the usual 0.05-0.4%). With extensive care, it extends to a respectable size of up to 3 meters, even in tropical zones. At the same time, it is free from any genetic manipulation and is not a hybrid form. In addition, at the time of harvest in late autumn, it does not yet have flowers, which makes it a very allergy-friendly cultivar.
Also characteristic is an above-average high yield of leaves, of which we include only the highest quality in our final product. The usual harvesting of plants in Europe usually involves the use of tractors; as a result, the finished product contains plenty of "weeds". Our leaves are carefullystripped by hand by our growers and then gently processed to preserve the many valuable ingredients, providing you with a product of highest possible quality and purity .
In contrast to the usual Herba quality, which consists of mechanically fragmented plant parts and usually contains 80% ineffective stems, our product is also much more concentrated.
